| When "Small Soldiers" was released, he was right after school shooting back to back (in addition to the death of Phil Hartman), so there is some controversy about a DVD film Small Soldiers where the toys get violent. But this Small Soldiers Family is quite good. You see, it is not true ridiculous, rah-rah military movie, but with the Gorgonites sides (of the soldiers opponents), showing how - whether or not they win or lose - always supporting each other. As the members of the cast, this is a DVD movie Small Soldiers by Joe Dante, so Dick Miller and Robert Picardo get papers. In this case, played a delivery man and clean room technician, respectively. Phil Hartman is probably the funniest cast member, playing the near final consumption (which wants its neighbor to remove the tree to accommodate a satellite dish). Overall, this is definitely worth seeing a movie. As far as I remember, Joe Dante's always a good job. |
| BAD NEWS - typical family in the Hollywood DivX Movie Small Soldiers features stupid parents, annoying teens that are too worldly for her age and think they do not receive respect from their parents. In addition, messages are the usual anti-military and anti-Republican cheap shots. The story has the commands (military, which means bad, of course) against Gorgonites (peaceful, for different creatures.) GOOD NEWS - A very clever animated-live action computer animated Small Soldiers movie (at least for 1998) in which the toys come alive and look real. Once the action begins, it is an interesting story with fun special effects, some good, funny dialogue and some of the excellent references to earlier films. It is sometimes difficult to catch them all. |
| Excellent story and running with a lot of thought. Decent casting wood! So the market idea after a format toy, which goes out of control. Strong performances from all the cast of this fun Small Soldiers Family movie in its own league. The tycoons have bang action in this tale of steroids on the wrists, which go out of control, through some strange implants.Basically largest chip and launched the careers of Kirsten Dunst (probably his best role to date, never). Very repeated now in the box and quite rightly so. That added to my collection of a cold rainy afternoon. Let go spoil the Hollywood sequel? If not how about a lobbyist for the much-needed sequel TV variant. This is a great conceptual idea, which requires the exploration and examination of that script. |
